YOUR HOSTS: Dan & Al. SYNOPSIS: We're back, and this time we go through the original Dark Sun box set, discussing everything from the format, art, rules, and whether or not the wire bindings on the flip books was a good idea or not.

SYNOPSIS: In the first of what I hope is a long line of retro reviews, where we review older D&D products, I started with probably the most iconic set of them all, the legendary Red Box Basic set, released in 1983. These are the rules that are the foundation of what would be the BECMI rules, and the booklets within were written & edited by Frank Mentzer.

The primary example used is the 4th edition campaign that Dave was DM for that he set up in the world of the video game series Suikoden.
